12 Months, 12 Steps to Preparedness is a year-long initiative from Brown County Public Health designed to help individuals and families build an emergency preparedness kit one step at a time. Each month highlights one essential emergency item, with a local participating store featuring that item, making preparedness more affordable and less overwhelming. By purchasing or checking off one featured item during regular shopping trips, participants can gradually build a complete emergency kit over 12 months—helping ensure they have the supplies needed to stay safe, comfortable, and resilient during emergencies.
Participating store: Hy-Vee (Ashwaubenon), 2395 S Oneida St, Ste 100, Ashwaubenon, WI 54304.
