Become an Emergency Preparedness Volunteer!
The Wisconsin Emergency Assistance Volunteer Registry needs volunteers. WEAVR is a statewide system to recruit, organize, and activate people during disasters.
In Brown County, volunteers play an essential role in supporting emergency response efforts. We can deploy people faster if we have a well-maintained contact list.
Prior experience is not necessary for most roles. You will receive training for an assigned role, if necessary, at the time of the response. Certain positions need specific skills or certifications. If applicable, we may ask you to provide documentation.
Register as a preparedness volunteer to boost community safety and resilience! Visit www.weavrwi.org and choose Brown County Public Health as your organization.
Thank you for supporting Brown County during emergencies!
